I have backpacked since a child. I love the Sierras especially Desolation Valley. I also like the North Coast. There are many nice hiking trails near to Sacramento for easy day hikes.

Fishing
Living a short walk to the American River as a child, this was the playground for me and my dog Pepe. I fished, hunted, and went swimming there all the time. My fishing took off from there when I was able to drive. I no longer hunt but still fish.

I like to backpack. I like weekend trips to the north coast, or the mountains. I also like to search for antiques, and when the weather is nice, seek yard sales and estate sales. |
